ONE DAY THERE WAS A CELL PHONE One day there was this cell phone, So little and cute was he, But he was packed like dynamite, He surely is not free. Oh sure, he takes your calls Until you’ve time to read, And you can call everyone And do it all with speed. Touch tone we do the zip zip And the task is finishes fast, It even sends a message The options are so vast. A phone it is, there is no doubt But it takes pictures too, And even movies it will do More than you ever knew. It has a calendar, and sets times and dates for you And off goes an alarm, when the time is due. It has a calculator that adds, subtracts and such And everything you do, is with a tender touch. You can also send your pictures and the movies too And cheer all your friends, when they are blue, I really could go on, for a stopwatch is also there I mention only in case you care. There is more and more, that they have added on You can even download music and listen to a song, But it is getting late, so this must come to an end, Why don’t you buy a cell phone, and then call a friend? by, Marie D. That's cute. I enjoyed it, but it makes me think of the lines, "God answers knee mail" and "His line is never busy." Rae |

First time I ever read a poem about a cell phone! They are handy but they can be so anoying when people don't use good manners with them. Oh well, Very cute and creative poem. |
