Although I live alone
I'm rarely ever bored
For tho I'm on my own
My best friend is the Lord
When I take my daily walk
He is always by my side
As he listens to me talk
On subjects far and wide
I asked him why he loves me
When I'm not free of sin
He replied I love where you are now
It's not important where you've been"
He knows when I'm content
And when I am depressed
He just listens to me vent
I always feel so blessed
Whenever I am sad
Missing friends now far away
I'm thankful and so glad
I have the Lord with me today

My mantra has always been..."I have to see England before I die!" I have always felt a close affintiy to your country since childhood...could have been in my prior life. Beheaded in the tower perhaps? Or...more likely, served time in debtor's prison or a wench working in the local public house!!

In any event...I almost had the chance a few years ago...plans all made when I had to cancel because of my mother-in-laws death.

If it is meant to be...it will happen. In any case...put on the kettle!
