There is Somewhere Out There There is somewhere out there, in ethereal space, Not of this Earth, or any known place. I fear that humanity won’t understand, We are not on our own, in a singular land. Galaxies and planets are things of the mind, We set the boundaries, made for mankind. There are more kinds of beings than ever we see, And they are all living, for eternity. Beyond all the barriers, of our physical lobbies, Some creatures ‘may not’, incarnate into bodies. I’ve traveled with them, both in goodwill and fear, Have not any doubt, they are really quite near. But where is this ‘near’, it exists in ‘our’ space, You’ll travel by spirit, to enter this place. It will not be found, by using six senses, But flying away from our world’s pretenses. Demons and Devils, and Angels and Gods, All reside in this place, where you’ve never trod. I know for I’ve been there, I’ve walked on this track, Go look, but make certain, you mark the way back. I enjoyed this very much. My late son used to say he felt God rides on another planet we cannot reach until we work for the good of all mankind. He used to say, "Look around, you'll see people working for OURselves, OUR families, OUR communities, OUR country, etc., rather than a common good for all. This write reminds me of that. Rae |

Rae, Thanks for the comments on this piece, especially those of your son. This verse goes probably a little deeper than a first glance will show, but I would whole heartedly embrace the words of your son. "we cannot reach until we work for the good of all mankind." The place we reach for can certainly not be reached unless we work for the good of all Mankind. Ivor The moment created this second, is a moment that's going to last. |

I enjoyed reading your poem and I do agree that there are dimensions that we have not yet discovered. I really liked your last line that read: quote: This brought a smile to my face as I do know how tempting it is to stay. God bless, -Bob |
