hope y'all like this cos its more of like free writing in a journal not a real poem as most i see over here.its almost 12am and i'm bored and not feeling sleepy which isnt a good combination. anyways,here it is ...

Right now,
I just want to talk,
To someone, anyone.
My love, is asleep,
Which hurts me;as selfish as that might sound.
He's meant to be with me and not in dream world.

Sleep would have helped me too,
But tonite isnt one nite,
That i particularly feel its sting.

Its these kind of nites,
That make me want more out of life,
Than just dreams,hopes and wishes.

And thats why,
Right now i hear a gentle whisper,
Of my Lord in my ears,
Telling me not to worry,
'Cos when he's in control,
Nothing can go wrong.

Now suddenly i feel a warm breeze wash over me,
And i feel my eyes getting heavy,
And slowly i feel my worries,
And loneliness slipping away,
Into the dark world of dreams,
Where i'll go meet my love.

This is a very sweet post. I like it when I get the meaning of a read in one go. Yes! I liked this one for sure.

Free verse is always Welcome here my friend. I agree that sometimes we are on different time schedules than the ones that we love and that can be real hard... but do I like your positive ending to your verse here in that you and your love end up together in dreamland. I think it's fabulous that you dream of your love. Good job and GOD bless you.
