Who am I? I am Dinah Also known as Mom and Nana What am I? I am a mother, a grandmother, A sister. I am also a very valuable, Very worthwhile person. When I come to a fork in the road I wonder which way should I go? The path I take is of my own choosing. Lord, guide my thoughts that I Might travel in the right direction. Help me overcome my fears, Teach me to be gentle with myself, That I might live my life In a fuller More beneficial manner. Calm my being, quiet my heart That I might hear more clearly What You are telling me to do. Thank you! You give me freedom, Intelligence and heart. You allow me to shed My past transgressions, And to learn by my mistakes Without fear of reprisal. By Your forgiveness I can start anew, Each day a wonderful adventure. I will be worthy of Your belief in me, For I am Your child I am Dinah Also known as Mom and Nana Happiness comes from kindness. |
