he showed me love hunnie alone in the dark, i couldn't see, and then he spread his light on me, it was then i knew he was there all along, holding me up until i became strong, i was struggling hard with life, trying hard to end this strife, it got so i always thought this would be the end, i lived now i think it was a godsend, i never thought for one second he was always there, showering me with love and with care, telling people from my church i needed their love, and i was given the hope sent from above, between the depression and hate, i just figured it was too late, but he proved i was wrong and i could live on, i saw him smile when i went back to church, his eyes they shone, i thought my life was done, but he showed me now, it has only begun. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war and a time for peace ~Ecclesiastes 3:8~ |

This was a very inspirational poem. Full of hope of what is yet to come. Thank you for sharing. My favorite part: alone in the dark, i couldn't see, and then he spread his light on me, it was then i knew he was there all along, holding me up until i became strong, ~If we didn't have any bad days, we wouldn't appreciate the good ones~ |
