The heavy chains of sin are gone
With Jesus at my side!
The one and only Son of God,
To cleanse me He has died!

His cleansing blood came to my soul;
It washed my sins away,
A sense of overwhelming joy
Brought me eternal day.

We are the shepherds of Christ’s Church;
Which he bought with His blood!
Salvation is through faith alone:
The faith which is from God.

Turn now, at once, from every sin
And to our Savior turn!
Ye wandering souls of prodigals,
Once more to God return!

Call on the Lord, the God most high,
Die to your sins today,
And live again through Christ alone,
Who takes your sins away!

Abide with me fast falls the eventide.

Thank you for sharing this nicely done invitation. How very different life looks, when we peer through eyes of faith. Freedom is ecstacy, when it's from our Lord.

Awesome poem! Loved it from beginning to end and it sure shows how much our Savior loves us. Well written and perfect rhyme.
