I came from the services today Finding inspiration that had somehow gone astray Watched the children sing and pray Thanked the Lord once again for giving me this day Blessed once more that his will be done Watched once more where I’d come from Echoed the memories new days morning sun Cast aside some of my demons, battles I had won Prayed for strength, peace, and wisdom in grace Asking for His guiding light to shine upon my face Watched for a time, child of mine, faith upon him God has placed Tomorrow, the sun will shine, There are Mountains to climb, Memories to find, Roads that wind, As I walk to another day in time Yet, I shall not walk alone…for He…is with me 1/12/03 |
