Jesus Has Come! And With His Blood Jesus has come! And with His blood Will cleanse our sin-stained soul. With His love He can make all good And He will make us whole! Joined through our Lord we are but one; This bond will never break! In spirit we will never part. We of one feast partake! Through Christ’s blood we are made His own; Through him we’re joined in heart. We are made same through Christ the son; We will not from Him part! We are all children of the Lord! Let this e’er be in mind. Remember now Jesus Christ’s word: “I’m with you for all time.” Abide with me fast falls the eventide. |

From him part? Grammar! Part from him. It doesn't sound as good when you are trying just trying to ryme, if you mess up the grammar |

I have to respectfully disagree. "from him part" is perfectly good grammar. It is just that you would not hear it put that way in speech or in prose. While I do agree that one should not go all out in an attempt to rhyme something, I think that part runs smoothly. Abide with me fast falls the eventide. |
