The in between both good and bad, a memory on which no one wants to dwell Purgatory, for those certain people. So horrible Thrown out of heaven, kicked out of earth, out ranking Satan, dropped out of hell The place for people of the worst, so terrible This is their punishment for every one of their crimes Where eternally they suffer, without mercy Not once given a break, paying up until the end of time This is where they come, all the psycho freaks The greatest evil, those one of a kinds Darkest hearts, which are too cold to even, feel In their souls no humanness will you find Evils in horror stories, who would think, Real? Purgatory, the place not either Where the deepest hurt exists Not heaven, nor hell, its neither everywhere, no worse than this Flames of hell, lick the chosen’s legs Light carefree air taunts them of what could have been Mortal pleasures, their deepest regrets Sadly, even the very ground they walk on hates them The darkest evil from greatest depths Lives among them, making them pay They don’t stop, not even in their death So many of them realize, by the day Guilt is sweeping among the caged Pulling them down, hurting them deep Fighting this new feeling, war is waged The less hardened hearts begin to weep For the ones who have no more soul Here to stay, for all the centuries Stuck here forever, eternal parole In this haunted house, this Purgatory Those who are trapped can think in sorrow That for them there is no way out of tomorrow. Doomed to what was given to pay their debt In the in between they stay, caught in a net. |

I beseech you my dear friend, please go to God’s Word, as purgatory is a man created theology, not found in The Bible. On the contrary, what you will find in God’s Word is a Hope that goes well beyond man’s darkened theology that has no hope at all, as your poem unfortunately reflects. God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:9) Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the Lord’s own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words. Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-5:11) For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you. (Titus 2:11-15) Have a Blessed Day, But as for me, I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; My God will hear me. (Micah 7:7) Bob Gotti |

Well i believe in it. If god doesnt want us to suffer, how about the holocaust, the black plague, 9\11, the recent middle east wars , all that. Why does hell exist then? Does god not have complete control? Maybe I am a satinist, I am not but still I could be. |

My Friend, there is a Hell far from God’s Glory, However, Purgatory is a Roman Catholic story. Smoking or Non-Smoking Christ pointed out two places, of which you could go, One was heaven above, and the other Hell below. The Lord Himself said not many words about Heaven, Except it would be filled with all our Christian Brethren. Since The Lord said more about this place He called Hell, It's importance is something we should continue to tell. Hell is not simply a state of mind of temporary separation, But instead, Hell is a Lake of Fire and of eternal duration. The smoke of this fire will rise upwards forevermore, So it's time to fear The Lord, I can tell you for sure. Neither is Hell a final resting place filled with wicked fun, But, it's a place of lasting torment, in which you should shun. Next time you think Hell is just a simple interjection, Remember it may be the place of your eternal selection. The only way up is to accept God's Good News of Salvation, Which will put you in Heaven, and fill you with Eternal elation. If you have heard Christ's Good News and your choice is rejection, Then Hell my dear friend is your place of Eternal selection. Now that you have these words of Eternal direction, Will you be in the Smoking or Non-Smoking section. He’s coming very soon as the signs are very clear, And when that trumpet sounds, we’ll be otta here! Praise God for our Great Blessed Hope, Who Will Deliver All Those Who Believe, out of this present World of Darkness into His Glorious Eternal Light! 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and Titus 2:11-14 In Christ's Love, Bob Gotti / http://www.poeticpulpit.com |

How do you know about hell? You haven't been there. What did you think of the actual poem? |
