Seems like forever since you held me in your arms Seems like forever since I have seen you smile at me Seems like forever since you made me dinner or clean my room Seems like forever since I had you here by my side Seems like forever since we laughed or talked or cried together Seems like forever Seems like just today I saw your soul in the eyes of my children Seems like just today I talked about how important you still are to me Seems like just today that I wonder if you still watch over me Seems like just today that I cried because you were gone Seems like just now that I miss you so very, very much Everything just seems like... |

Precious heartfelt write. My mom lived in a different state. After she passed, I'd find myself wanting to call and tell her something I read, saw or heard, for a couple of years. Also, I loved buying her clothes as selection for her tiny frame is so much better where I live. I'd catch myself, eyeing something on sale, for her, then, I'd remember. God bless, Rae |

banished fairy, Your poem is so heart felt and I can see your pain but the good thing is you are living in the now. Let time heal the wounds of losing your mother. It did for me. Trust in the lord and he will make you see how really strong you can be. Huggs Kimberly |
