Hi there I wrote this yesterday because of what was happening with the war overseas. It is called One Word. One word is all it takes for god sake to make or break this war we are in. Where did it all begin. Why can't they hear my plea, they have already taken my kids from me. I watched them die one by one, they lay there in the sun. When the bombs drop we allhad to run. Where did we go wrong. we have no where now to belong, as houses have all gone. My friends and family aren't here. It only takes one little word to show you care. This war is so absurd. Why is it no one heard. Why won't they think of anyone else for a moment or so. Why can't they just let it go. We are the innocent ones here, doesn't anyone out there care. Help us stop to this war. Tell us what its all for. Hear our plea. Please, please help me. One word, that no one heard. Thank you listening to my poem all the best jen |

War is always sad... Thank you for the reminder... Ben “We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson |

Dear Jenny. Thank you for your words from the perspective of the suffering. I can't imagine the horror of being caught in the midst of such impartially directed violence. Bless you and them. Love, Joyce |

Thank you so very much for expressing the heart of the victims here in your poem and I do think that you've captured the emotion and the empathy of the sufferers of war very very well here. God bless. -Bob |
