THE CORRIDOR We are walled in Within the Corridors of Life. A passageway entered At birth With death, on this plain The final destination. May the doors We open To enter unknown rooms During the walkthrough Of our lives, Lead us towards honesty, Moral integrity Wonderful family, Great friendships, The joy of living And all this and more Within the Corridors of Life. I am an enigma, even unto myself. |

And I hope we all walk down the hall of faith to understanding and humility. Loved this piece. ~ The soul lies buried in ink that does not flow ~ |

Nice piece, Sprit. Some of us can only look backwards to see if we have lived as we should. Joyce |

What a wonderful wish for our lives... we all have choices, and I hope that your choices are always good to you. Thanks for sharing. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.--Jesus Christ |

When I think of corridors, I think of long halls with lots and lots of doors... I think this is a great analogy of life that you've made here. When I think of corridors, I also think of all the people who are institutionalized in one way or another... Be it school children, be it patients in a hospital, be it government officials, etc. etc. I think of all of those people who are in need of prayer behind those doors. I think that you are right here my friend that there are plenty of opportunities in life to show our positive character traits that you have mentioned in your poem. We just need to take a little "walk through" once in awhile. GOD bless. -Bob |
