i wrote this because there are so many break downs in communication, between families.

This is called

TELL DADDY

Tell daddy I love him.

Tell daddy I care.

Tell daddy I'm here

I hope one he realises how much we share.

Tell daddy I am only a phone call away.

I hope I will hear from him one day.

Tell daddy I miiss him so.

Tell daddy I just want him to know.

Thank him for me letting me grow,I love him so.

Tell daddy we still have so much.

Tell daddy I miss his loving touch.

Tell daddy I care.

Even though he's not here.

Tell daddy how much I have grown.

Tell daddy about the people I have known.

Let him see the good seeds I have sown.

Tell daddy what I have seen.

Tell daddy we made a good team.

If it hadn't been for him I would never have been.

Tell daddy he gave me so much pride.

Tell daddy I am pleased he was there when I needed to confide.

He made me see that I had no need to hide.

Tell daddy he made me see, how happy I am to be me.

Tell daddy he set me free.

I now know where I am meant to be.

As I read this, I'm thinking of 'Daddy' as being our heavenly Father.  Often there's a communication breakdown there, too.  I enjoyed reading it.

Jenny,

Your beautiful poem spoke directly to my heart because it reminded me so very very much of the relationship between my daughter and myself though we've been drawing closer to each other this year since the death of her beautiful beautiful Son and my most precious precious Grandson and I think perhaps why your poem spoke to me even more and on a more personal level is that my daughter's name is Jennifer who is also called Jenny for short.

I won't go on any further but to say again that your poem really really touched my heart.

God bless you and thank you (Thank You) for sharing.

-Bob
