Before this day we were separate entities in spirit
We unite in holy matrimony today in the sight of
God.
Our sacred union blessed to become both one in spirit
With the sanctification of the father son and holy ghost

To you I will love until the end of time
To you I will be faithful and true
To you I will treat with respect
To you I will show understanding
To you I will show gentleness and kindness
To you I will be protective
To you will be the first in my life before father, mother son or daughter.
As long as I shall live

I pronounce my love to you _____________before God and I shall never
mistreat you or harm you as long as we both shall live. Kiss

I wrote this for my best friend's wedding but she passed away before she was wed. I just wanted to share this with you.

At first, I felt such a sense of emptiness after reading these wedding vows that you wrote for your friend and knowing that your frind had passed away without ever actually being wed, but, then, I remembered that there is still a Wedding Day for her to come and that made me smile.

Bob as I said before I am going through all my journals and posting my work. This was posted because of the smile on Jody's face when I read it to her and Frank. I am Glad you liked it too Marge. I am finished crying over her now. I am celebrating her life in Heaven as I believe the lord saved her soul. She was such a blessing to me in my own walk with Christ.

Thanks for sharing this bitter/sweet memory.  How blessed you were to have had the opportunity to write and share this with her while she was still here.

May the peace you feel, knowing she was a believer, keep you faithful for life.
