It is with awareness That I seek the joy Of a respectful And respected life. I am at one with God, I am spirit-filled. My house needs to be built, And will be built, On a foundation of love, Peace and joy. I inhabit my house, My body, At the will Of the Supreme Being. I should and will Treat this building As a Holy Place, Christ filled, Holy Ghost filled. My arms stretch out To circle those Close to me, With love, As God’s arms, My Heavenly Father’s, Encircle me. I will learn, I am learning, To be kinder and more caring, So that my spirited soul Can live, within the walls Of a more Holy Place. I am an enigma, even unto myself. I read your poem almost like an oath. A most sacred oath made unto GOD to be Pure, to be Holy, and to be filled with the presence of Him. (Holy Spirit Filled) Your poem to me gives additional meaning to the phrase, Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Ouch!! I've got a few cob-webs myself to sweep out. Amen. Thanks for sharing my friend.
