He's the water in the desert
When your soul begins to thirst
Just call on the name of Jesus
The master of the universe.

When Jesus comes in glory
Robotan will melt with heat
And all his molten ashes
Will worship at Jesus feet.

The blinding web that spiderman
Has woven to keep me bound
Will burst and I'll be free to shout
When God's feet touches ground.

No he's not a metalic robot
Fashioned by the hands of men
Death and hell is not his goal
He came to save you from your sin.

He's the water in the desert
When your soul begins to thirst
Just call on the name of Jesus
The Master of the Universe.

He-man will shake and tremble
Godzilla will flee in fright
And all our super heros
Will be blinded by the light.

Superman will lose his strenght
Brownman will sound retreat
And all the Gods on childrens shows
Will kiss the Masters feet.

The A-team's plan won't come together
On that final judgement day
Thor, the Hulk, and Iceman
Their hearts will melt away.
Plasticman's great stretching arms
Can't reach to pull me down
I'll go to meet God in the air
When I hear that Trumpet sound.

He's the water in the desert
When your soul begins to thirst
Just call on the name of Jesus
The Master of the Universe.

Here's to you Daddy for all the music
That you put in my heart...

while I like the idea behind your poem
it is hard to say, that this is a good poem
Because in ways of technique and rhyme this has problems in keeping a solid rhythm

In saying that there is not a true pattern to your writing and the result is lost on such a great and perfect idea to base your writing on

a poet who cares

That is beautiful Debo, and your love for Christ shines through, but His Light may not always pierce through the blinders that Satan has on many people. You just keep shouting for The Lord my dear friend, and others will hear and see His Light.

In Christ's Love,

He's coming very soon, the signs are very clear,
And when that trumpet sounds, we’ll be otta here!
Waiting in Him with Great Expectation,  Bob Gott

Sure glad I caught this gem!  I love the idea of relating todays heros to our one and only real hero, Jesus.  It says a lot.  So often I think of this type thing when people are paying high prices for a ball signed by a player or music signed by the author.  What price, one wonders, do they place on the word of our Lord.

Thank you for sharing this piece.
