The Last Supper

26 March 2000

The story told
in days of old
Of a supper partaken
with bread breakin’

Drink the wine
remember the divine
Blood of Christ
water from ice

Ending the reign
in version so plain
Gone but not forgotten
God’s only begotten

Hear Him
not his twin
Choose the light
bask in the right

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and
break it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is
my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to
them, saying Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new
testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Matthew 26: 26-28 KJV

Amen.  You too have remember the true meaning of Easter and I am glad to see it.  God bless you this Easter as you meditate and appreciate His sacrifice.
