My Mother My mother Is forever constant. She spent The other night With me. Held me tight, Told me how much She loved me. There was more than A modicum of comfort In her presence. It is So humbling To realize, That she still loves me, As much In her death As she did In her life. I am an enigma, even unto myself. |
