From junk to joy From trash to treasure Restoring the beaten Is my pleasure Cast it aside Throw it away It is your garbage That makes my day See the treasure I have in my home The trinkets and precious stone I have inlaid the best within my walls Everything collected from your garbage stalls You thought it worthless You counted it loss Oh but the joy it brings me In spite of the cost I offer My Son As the purchase price For the junk and the trash That has become your life I can rebuild I can renew I know I can because I love you Lyn Eagleton 01/10/2006 |

GREAT!!! At first when I read this I thought you were talking about homeless people collecting our garbage and making it their treasures, but when I realized you were talking about God and our lives being garbage it took on a whole new meaning. I know you are away, but I had to comment. This is a great poem and I hope you are back soon. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
