So Quiet No wind, no rain, no sound today, Even the birds are still. All Earth is bowing to the Lord In obeisance to his will. Yesterday the rains poured down Into the mighty river. The wind blew forth in angry gusts, To set my world aquiver. I cowered in my little home, My only hope in prayer. God heard and sent a peaceful day; In January rare. To every life the storms will come In dark and heavy waves; And just as sure the sunny days To bring the peace one craves. By: Joyce 1/19/06 |

You certainly illuminate the silver lining with your thankful words, Joyce. I could see it all happening, feel the fury and peace. God bless Rae |
