There’s been a voice Calling in the wind Calling me by name To come home again I want to get Jesus, I want to know God now I want to go home, But I don’t know how Can you take me by the hand And Lead me to the Son of Man Could He love this wretched soul Or must I change, I do not know Change only comes Through Him I’m told Bathed in the Blood, Welcomed into the fold Just as I am as the song goes The Redeemer has come for me Longing for the secret no one else knows I found the Messiah on my knees So now let me take you by the hand And lead you to the Son of Man For He died for you and He died for me And we shall find Him on our knees Written by Melody L Wilson 06/08/2003 |

Very lovely. It asks the questions and answers them all in the same poem. My favourite stanza is: So now let me take you by the hand And lead you to the Son of Man For He died for you and He died for me And we shall find Him on our knees To take somebody by the hand is itself a loving action, but to lead them to the Lord is even so much better. Sheri Adams Jesus lives in my heart! He can in yours too!!! |
