New Cries

Oh Lord, as I call out your name
The gates of Heaven open for me, your daughter.
And out pours your healing rain,
And I am amongst the glorious waters.

Cleansing my sins away,
And burying my past.
You bring fourth a new day,
Forgiving all the sins my heart can cast.

You taken my heart out of despair,
And poured more love than I deserve unto me.
Lord, can I ever show you how much I care?
I will lift my hands, and bow down upon my knees.

Oh my Lord, how grateful am I,
No way can I give enough thanks to you.
Oh my Lord, do you hear the new cries,
Cries of Joy, Cries of Love, Thankful Cries of my new life with you.

Hope can die in an instant
but forever dreams carry on.

An absoulutely beautiful poem. What greater joy than to realize you are loved by the Savior. And there will be no more cries one day but until then He will soothe us when we need comfort and He will never leave our side even if we leave His.
