Calling His Name From narrow path wanting to stray I gaily lived from day to day. I threw His loving gift away, No thought of price He had to pay. The night is coming, day is done, The path I chose no longer fun; And as I watch the setting sun My careless ways I long to shun. Now as I call His precious name I bring a heart bursting with shame. Knowing I only am to blame His refusal of this child to claim. He whispers softly, "Do not fear, Just call my name, I'm always near" By Joyce 10/15/05 |
