I stood upon a hill to look
At the meadow and the brook
And saw the face of God arise
From out the brook and to the skies

He seemed to smile and with His ease
Sent the wind throughout the trees
And softly by the breeze a voice
Was telling me to now rejoice

For in His presence, I now knelt
And peace within I’ve never felt
I bowed my head in holy prayer
And shook the bonds of my despair

His voice a calming whisper came
Then took my sins and all my shame
While tears of joy ran down my face
To be here in this wondrous place

And all at once, as if a dream
He went back down into the stream
And left me saved and in His grace
In The Father’s warm embrace.

What a beautiful piece. How nicely you've painted the picture of His warm forgiveness in a most natural setting and being changed by His saving grace.
