I can not speak of myself, if I do then I bare witness of myself and my witness is not true. Is it not written the Lord saith none is worthy no not one? Is not written there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus? It is not written Paul warned Timothy not to heed to fables and there would be those who would desire to be teachers of the law understanding neither of what they say, nor whereof they affirm, and turn toward vain jangling? Is it not written the Lord saith man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God? Is it not written the Lord saith not to lean upon thy own understanding? Is it not written the Lord saith the scriptures are a testimony to him and man has no testimony? Do they not foretell all of man’s ways as a testimony that he is our Lord and God above all and knowth all things? Go now in thy silence and be meek for it is written the meek shall inherent the earth. Go by the grace of God if thou has ears to hear.

So true. We have the scriptures to seek the truth. We do not need man's word, but some do not read and we are servants of God to take them to the Word of God. Joyce

Those who desire to be dead to the world and alive in Christ hear his voice as he leads them out of the valley of death toward green pastures to drink of still waters. Away from the roaring waters which is like a lion that confuses it’s prey before it is devoured. The Lord silences the pure of heart like a child so they may understand the wisdom of his word and bow their heads lest they stand tall and get into the current and be sweep away.

and He loves us, though we don't deserve it - no greater love than this man has, that He sent His only son to die for us.
