Our White Dove

We weep and ask the question, "Why?"
We really want to know.
Did Heaven have a greater need
Than we who loved her so?
She filled her days with kindly deeds
And walked the narrow path.
Why is it then that someone stays
Who's not so good by half?
Another Saint in Heaven
Another star in the sky.
In God's own time in his own way
We'll know the reason why.

Joyce a child explained this to me one day, and said simply, "God wants the best for angels."

I think he does have impeccible taste don't you? Becca was ready, and in that knowing, there is peace. She has faith, and was not one bit afraid, but ready. She will always be here, always!

So timely your words that flow like a refreshing brook, Joyce. Perhaps it isn't for us to question WHY?, but HOW can we best accept our Lord's always perfect timing?

Each person here is a part of what she became.
