The Angel Band Underneath our Christmas tree, An angel band plays joyously! With silvered wings and haloed hair They stand in fragile beauty there. Made of porcelain and lace. Angel smiles on every face. Some with tiny violin Tucked up beneath a dimpled chin. Some with flute or horn displayed. So skillfully and sweetly made. They've been passed down since nineteen-ten. My grandma bought them, way back then. Treasured heirlooms mean so much And help us always keep in touch With loved ones who have left our side And with real angels, now abide! this is a brilliant write! You always astound me. thank you though, because it really is good to have reminders such as the little angel decorations passed down, to remember the family we don't have here to celebrate with anymore. Keep it up And Happy celebration of His Birth Always, Alyssa - And so it was that time stood still - |

Like watching the classic "Nutcracker" musical, I could imagine the detail of your little angel's band and hear their sweet music and join in with their ballet of Holiday praise. A most sentimental write here. God bless you and yours this Christmas season. -Bob |

Bob: Thank you so much for your sensitive reply. It is a lovely little band and so treasured because it is a family heirloom. I'd like to leave it out all year but I'm afraid something will happen to it. Best wishes to you and yours for the New Year! Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
