Silently, oh, so silently
You came walking through the gate,
Footprints left on dewy grass;
You didn't forget your date.
You gave her velvet roses,
Filled the air with sweet perfume,
Moonbeams danced in the darkness,
Night's flowers started to bloom.
You tenderly took her hand in Yours,
And gently lifted her off her feet,
Melodies drifted through the night,
With the angels heavenly beat.
You glided across the green carpet,
A soft glow lit Your dear face,
Oaks and maples seemed swooning,
As You moved with ethereal grace.
An audience of squirrels and bunnies,
Sat silently, in total awe,
While a crow who's usually cackling,
Just whispered a delicate caw.
Her heart was filled with the purest love,
Your dance healed many old scars,
Her soul was once again refreshed,
As she waltzed with You under the stars.

Godspeed Rebecca ~ You will be missed so....

To Rae (Sandgrain), Tim and family, please know you are all in the thoughts and prayers of so, so many.  God Bless you all.

Oh Marge ~ What a sad, sad time for the blue pages, my heart is heavy too...Becky was so special, her love of God so pure...and she helped me in so, so many ways...Tears just won't stop for awhile I'm afraid.

Thank you for this delicate beautiful poem for White Dove, our dear Rebecca.
I am also deeply saddened, but I know her soul soars in heavenly realms now and she smiles again ... continuing to touch our hearts with her beauty.

This is beautiful...Rae is going to have copies of all the tributes and I'm sure this one will be one of their favorites.

Life just seems empty without Becky doesn't it?

Sigh.

She is indeed missed Greatly. You have written a beautiful rendition here I think of the Lord and it is very comforting for me to think of Rebecca being now with the Lord in this way. Thank you so very very much for sharing. -Bob

Dear Bonnie, since you told me about Becky today my tears have overflowed. This piece you have written is so quietly sad and beautiful. I felt like I wasn't breathing while reading it. In my mind I saw Becky dance with our Lord and it was more than elegant. Thanks for providing this image. I too will be writing something for our sweet friend but it will have to be in His time.
Hugs,
Jules

Bonnie, I've read and reread this lovingly penned tribute to Rebecca.  It will be read many more times as it's incorporated in her book of poetry, her family has as a keepsake.

Thank you so very much.

Love and God's blessings,

Rae

Just 2 days ago I was going through prints of these wonderful tributes written by caring friends at PIP.  This is one of my favorites.

Thank you to whomever reposted this just before her September 9th birthday.

God bless,
Rae

Once more I join in remembering our WhiteDovie~

This coming Saturday is her birth-of-date
and she left us many gifts of her poetry and goodness when she finger-walked among us~

Rae~ ... sure thinking of Rebecca and you and all of those who loved her so dearly~
