what is the faith of a "mustard seed"? so small, faith at all is great indeed. but the seed of an herb cant believe. thats absurd. so what does this metaphor mean? |

Ganja is seen by Rastafarians as the herb of life mentioned in the Bible... but, my preference is more toward the mustard seed. (Smiles) I think what is being emphasized in the scriipture you reference is as you wrote any faith at all is good and a mustard seed is very very small and if we have faith even that small we can move mountains. Great metaphor. -Bob |

The metaphor of the mustard seed is a favorite of mine. Jesus knows our hearts and knows how difficult it is for us to have faith without the slightest doubt ... so if we actually could exclude doubt and have just total faith even if it was just the size of a mustard seed it would be enough to move the mountains. So it's not the "amount" of faith, but its "purity" that counts. Just my opinion. Thank you! Love, Margherita |

Derrick~ On my charm bracelet I wear a glass-enclosed mustard seed that was given to me in my early teens~ It is an ever-constant reminder to me that sometimes when I feel the path is darker than I'd like it to be ... my faith ... great OR small will deliver me to where He wants me to be~ Thank you for this~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
