For Some Time

For some time, he has asked,
     “Won’t you come on home?”
For some time, he has watched
     as you proceed to roam.
For some time, he has carried
     your burdens that you bear.
For some time, he has tarried,
     “My child, please know I care...”

When your life’s gone crazy
     with no reason or no rhyme;

--Jesus has been waiting for some time.

For some time, he has asked,
     “Won’t you come and pray?”
For some time, he has loved you,
     but you just turn away...
For some time, he has buried
     the sins that you embrace
For some time, he has married
     his devotion to your face...

When your life’s gone crazy
     with no reason or no rhyme;

--Jesus has been waiting for some time.

YES< YES< YES> Yes, He certainly does have much more patience than we, and Yes He is our Lord and Savior, and Yes, as so many Christians bring to remberance this time of the year, He is the Reason. Thank you for your kind reply and God bless. -Bob

Thank you for your kind words. I do believe that we can be in his presence anytime as you have written and I do believe that God has also placed a Great Big Welcome Mat at the door of our hearts...
