Beneath His Throne Not one of us will see God's Face, Until we reach that Holy Place, Called Heaven and have left behind The sins and errors that we find On earth, along the road we plod, While hoping it will lead to God! I wonder how that day will be? Will He reveal Himself to me, Or is His Countenance so rare, It must be veiled, so as to spare The eyes that long to ferret out The Face we've only read about. We are so far beneath His Throne And yet, He claims us for His own. Perhaps, we'll be too distant where The people flock around His Chair, To see His Face, but satisfied That in His Kingdom, we'll abide! Betty Lou Hebert |

Trill - I enjoyed your true humility in this write and I am sure our Father is pleased by your honoring his greatness. Sometimes I feel so small, it is so hard to fathom how he enjoys us as much as he does, but he does. When we finally understand that our worship is meant for his happiness not for our own it makes so much sense. We are designed to please him and when we do, he blesses us. sorry for the little sermon there..haha - I love humility in poetry - awesome ... When I get my new poem done I will post it, for it goes well with both yours and Joyces last post. Thanx Brother - Tim He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Proverbs 28:26 |

You certainly have held on to your wonderful and powerful expression in imagery. So very uplifting to see in my mind's eye all of those beautiful saints of God gathered around the Throne. It was so nice to read your work again. Smiles. Bob |
