this poem is not very good, but i would like to share it with you anyways. it is more of a description of events hastily turned into a poem, so i apologize for a lack of craftsmanship towards the writing. My body, it is sitting here Atop soft tangles of carpet. I breathe through insulated air. I live within these walls and floors. My senses are soaking with this Strange experience I am in. I am so very high, watching My normal pulse of thought go by. I watch the system take its course. Each nerve, each thought I can detect. I am alone, a small vessel Cast along a sea of senses. Looking down, I'm rising higher Transcending planes of consciousness. Pieces of ego shred away. My third eye lifts its weary lid. It opens up, infinity, A crack, a sliver of that light. Basking in such intimate warmth, Completeness and love absorb me. Resting inside my little self, It’s holding me, the greatest thing, The greatest friend, the greatest force, This great feeling beyond feelings. I am greedy, undeserving Of such a rare and precious gift. I reach out my soul and hold on tight, Like a child to his mother. It is all I can give, my love, My full devotion in return, This very moment I am in. These very breaths are my fullest. This is how I should live my life. My trembling body quakes with joy. I and I are one, enjoying This very moment of being. |

May you never lose that intimacy with your source. Joyce |
