I went one night to walk among the evergreens while there, I cried out to the Lord. "God! Why did you make me? Why must I be so alone?" Then came a gentle breeze, and with it came a soft whispering voice. "My child, when I made people I gave them the right to choose. However, there is always someone in your corner. You are never alone." I went a little further and another question came. "My father, I'm lost. I can't seem to find the light." Again came the gentle brezze it surrouned me like a well known friend. "My dear child, I did not make you to wander this world alone. I made you to seek me, to love me as I love you. You are never alone." I had one last question to ask, so I stopped and knelt by the tallest evergreen. "Daddy, what if I stumble and fall again? I don't want to be alone." This time the Lord came in the shape of a dove. "My dear, I didn't make you to be perfect. You will stumble, however; choose to fall on me. You will never be alone." |
