Why? I have asked myself one question countless times. As each leaf falls, a tear trails... Why? Why is it so different now? Feeling so lost, so without, empty.. Wishing to feel the breath of passion... Touch the warmth of curves rising smoothly into a garden of tender sensuality.. I reach out, fingers lightly grazing a sheet.. Once warm, now cold... The sound of a closing door... still echoing within my mind as my lips... as my lips pursed to say....to beg and plead.. wanting desperately to say no... My light dims with each passing hour... Each day of rain overcoming each second of life giving light...warmth that now ebbs.. Why? Pages.... Now mere fodder for the cannon’s wrath of black death....Each page turned gently by the wind....blown into a sea... Once calm....as two walked....hand in hand.. Upon sands of time, tiny grains of life... The hourglass ebbs and dwindles... Can not the flow remain? Has the last grain sifted through fingers... Fingers worn and weary, blackened from the ink of a pen now dry... Will words flow to the sea as a tide of love drifts through the reeds of one’s heart? If not...... Why? |

Barry This is so emotive...left me wondering myself, as to your questions and answers....which I guess we all must find answer to ourselves. Life moves ...and changes...and too soon is gone...this much I know. Hugs, dear friend! |

Magnus darling man once again your words move me, they are emotive powerful and so full of feeling. The questions you ask are of course as eternal as the sun and just as mysterious, you manage to untangle the knot that leaves us all struggling for the meaning. Truly outstanding writing darling heart, as always you write exceedingly well and I love it utterly utterly utterly. As for critique if you really want one then I’ll say the only thing I can, write more please darling heart, is that a critique? Mmmm sort of Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Breathe through the heat of our desire |

Magnus...When love dies...there is always such an emptiness, such a void. You have brilliantly captured these feelings. It's the remembrance of two that hurts the most. I hope love comes your way soon and that you have another hand to hold, another heart to share love with. I will keep you in my prayers. ***Ivy Rose |

Has the last grain sifted through fingers... Why indeed. I understand every word of this. No matter how good looking she is... someone, somewhere is glad she's gone. |

Barry, I'm sure that the words will always flow from your pen, no matter what you are feeling at the moment. I do hope, though, that this is just from your imagination, friend, because it is so sad. If not, I hope that you will find someone to fill that empty spot, sweet friend. Thanks for sharing your poetry. Love to All, Ethel |

This was "Mag"nificent writing. Truly! I trust that this was just poetic expression and not a reflection of where you're at personally. I'm a big fan of yours, not only as a poet but as a person. Hugs to you, Sir Poet! EA |
