Your luminous eyes,
will you please,
on what do they look,
oh what do they see
"When you gaze upon me?"

Do i look homely,
secure, warm and safe;
or troubled and lonely,
like some poor little waif?

Am i big, muscled,
large and strong;
or aristocratic,
haughty,
one never to be wrong?

Do i frighten, scare,
cause you some fear;
or smile and laugh,
and bring you good cheer?

Your luminous eyes,
will you please,
on what do they look,
oh what do they see,
"When you gaze upon me?"

You answer sincerely,
honest and true;
"Shall i tell you my friend,
what i do see,
when my eyes come to rest on you?"

A look, a glance,
with a gentle
smile on your face,
"I see a brother,
from the fellowship,
of the human race!!"

This really is charming, though I've not said that about a poem before.
I very much liked the ending, quite creative, really nicely done.
