Textured stock Sketched, With bare tracings Of love, yet unrealized Awaiting the wash Of relevant colors Applied by these Unsteady hands In attempt to depict A romance in wash Your solitary Blues With my own lonely Ochres Strive to find balance And harmony within This unfinished painting A watercolor of us Je t'aime, Etoile Ed |

I liked this. It made me smile. I loved the references to art, and how you connected it with love. French is a nice touch too. Magnifique! Kielo I don't care if you're an old fart, because old people are smarter than me. |

A romance in wash... the visions of that one line alone leaves ripples... |

Ed....thank you...I adore this beautiful poem. Kisses Brush strokes softly linger over my body Effortless as wisps of shadows moving across the room Breathing lightly across my breasts Moonlight streams through the studio skylight Touching my face with an innocent, unintended longing Flickering almost imperceptibly Exaggerating the hunger hidden deep in my heart Our bodies sing intricate chorales of light Faceted bodies pulsing with passion Winding about each other in elaborate rays of celebration Delicately etched against the night’s sky Ocher and amber Saffron and citrine Passions transfigure into colors that never had a name Exquisite fragile elegant ethereal A portrait of our evening's embrace Amore... Her "solitary blues" and your "lonely ochres", blended together, would make a wash of healing green that could bring the balance and harmony you strive for. ~ Perhaps you should finish the painting.... Linda |

Etoile, there you go again, prettying up my poor scribbles with your beautiful verse. (of course, I love it when you do) It is yours to do with, as you please. My pleasure is in your reply. Je t'aime *Kisses* Ed [This message has been edited by wranx (10-25-2002 10:53 AM).] |
