As we stand round this pool of blood Another stain upon the neighborhood A life cut short, a flame snuffed out With no good reason tells what it’s about, Blight of accumulating fears Unable to wash away with our tears, Nothing to do but leave this stain And carry with us the lingering pain. As we stand around this coffin Reminiscing of the good that has been, Six friends will carry him away, Six feet down will he eternally lay. His laughter will no longer greet, Just a fading stain walked upon by feet. Gloom |

I am always reminded how much safer I am living here than in a larger city...yet the city has so much to offer. M |
