The phone rings You answer on the 3rd ring You say hello And they hang up on you That happens a couple times A night Sometimes you wish they could see the light And stop calling you Everytime they call And hang up You scream into the phone, "How rude?" Then you ask a friend, "How can I block These rude people?" They say, "Get caller ID or pay for these people to be put on a list Of do not call And every time they call They can be fined." You get the caller ID But they keep calling And hanging up So you go on to plan B But they keep changing There phone number And calling and hanging up Those stupid Telephone pranksters Will on day pay Cold hands means a warm heart |

Yea... one day I'll catch them. What is life without poetry and adventure? |

(sigh) Oh Julie, I know this ever so well and the solicitations just start piling up just like the junk mail you get in an e-mail inbox! (sigh) I hope soon we can improve the privacy qualities of technology services, sweet friend, this is excellent, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Julie, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

A cute poem, Julie... Those people sure are annoying! We have noticed lately that telemarketers call and then hang up because I think they call several lines at once and just talk to whomever answers the phone first. We have caller ID, but it still doesn't screen everything out ~ hugs by phone Lyra |
