Night Fright As darkness loomed I took that drive of fifty miles or more. When reached my destination I had no idea what was in store. For me, I thought a scare or two would bring my heart to pump. But when those long nails touched my neck a scream was heard, then thump... The axe came down, the bat flew near the spiders grew unreal. The chill of night just added to my joy of fright appeal. The skeletons and ghouls came out, some fake and some were real. I couldn't tell the difference when my breath, the fog did steal. Displayed so well when children came, some could only cry. The castle loomed in fog and doom, adults in fear would sigh So hard to tell when they were still... or if mannequins 'til reaching out and if you were unlucky it would be you that we'd hear shout. Each was in for a special treat, if only they would take the walk of fright unto the door, in caldron filled with snake. Parents had to take their own, some forced beyond their will. Worth the while and distant drive this haunting night of thrill. ** my nephew decorated his house as a castle and with lights, smoke, ghosts and ghouls (real and unreal) a cemetery, bats, spiders and webs and music of screams..people drove from all over to bring their children but many were too frightened as the ghouls would reach out to touch or even enter the street and stop the traffic... Julie, thank you... EA..it took him a few years to accumulate everything but it really was fun to see and participate in Red...well if you are ever in his neck of the woods you are certainly welcome to join in Hey Long John are you trying to say my house is haunted??? Well the truth is we were told it was, but it turned out to be the window ropes were worn or shrunk so some windows would open on their own and some would close on their own..*s You are too much YOU!!! Any way we had all 47 windows replaced... M |

Great work! Yours and his! When I lived in Phoenix years ago there was actually a family that had done there front (couldn't see the back) yard goulishly and like an old cemetary complete with a hanging...and that was there everyday yard. Needless to say a lot of ruckess was raised about it but last I saw of it it was still there...years ago. Loved this... jwesley |

thanks jw..I thought I would share the pictures I took last night..but it's really nothing compared to seeing it all in real..the fog lifts and the other ghouls(the actors) moving were very scary. Nice to see you here... M |

Wow!!! Oh my gosh, your nephew did a wonderful job setting this all up, it looks like he brought so much effort and heart into it and it was well worth it, especially if it stopped the traffic! (giggles) I love it, sweet friend, HAPPY BELATED HALLOWEEN, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!
