Cocoon might I draw up into this cocoon find warmth safety quiet time to go apart find renewal strength to seek my purpose then might I emerge she who is intended to inhabit this shell to indwell the sinew and flesh-- to walk these bones to action satisfaction then might I fulfill the worth of the matter I consume of this universe ©October 22, 2002 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

I love this poem. It reminds me of my own 'burn-outs' and what I've had to do, more than once, to refresh and start anew. Thank You, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

(sigh) Oh Virginia, I feel we all need a little time every now and then to feel protective in our cocoons just as we all need to emerge and fly for destiny whenever the weather we face permits! (smiles) This is wonderfully said, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
