If you could see Him now,
He's soaring on the wind
for gravity has lost its hold ...
"He's free at last my friend!!"
The chains that once had bound Him
have fallen to their end ...

If you could see Him now.

If you could see Him now,
you'd know the joy He feels
and you would be the first to say,
"I know that God is real!!"
His praise in endless glory
would fade all earth's appeal ...

If you could see Him now.

I know that life at times
seems hopelessly divine,
but in the larger scheme of things
there's much more on the line
and you'd not be hesitant
for Heaven you would find ...

If you could see Him now.

I'm sorry you were having trouble posting in the Spiritual Journey forum, but I must say I'm rather glad for it as I would have missed this poem. I'll be looking for you in future..wherever I may find you. Thanks for this wonderful write. I really enjoyed it!!

You have such a wonderful way of reading between the lines. I was thinking about the golden street, but just couldn't make it work with this poem... Just to let you know that I haven't neglected Spiritual Journeys.... I posted here because I didn't know that there was a Spiritual Journey #2. Sunshine was very helpful to inform me though... Anyway, the folks here are so nice and friendly that I'm just going to leave this poem here for them to enjoy. I'll be seeing you back in Spiritual real soon and God bless and take care of you until then.

Bob, I was out of town for the weekend, so I didn't see this when you first posted it. Tonight I've been looking back over the back pages of this forum and I found you here. I'm so glad that I did. This is a beautiful poem and your work is excellent. I hope to read more of your work. Thanks for sharing this with us.
