Just slap that pass upon my thigh cause I don't wanna hang out here sitting on a trunk, bummed out-- reflected in those red footlights. I don't believe my face can do those contortions--so required standard mask of the groupie to decorate the wing stage right. I want to be out there again-- I like anonynimity-- I want to meet the paying guests and dance the jubilee. [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (10-12-2002 12:34 PM).] |

Karen... I think you are the lead singer... not just a part of the band... This poem intrigues me... I love it ~ loving hugs from the chipmunk Lyra |

No JET---but lotsa nice surprises-- Let's see... He opened without an opening song...pageantry of sorts-- actors portrayed characters throughout place and time, spanning every century, but I did notice the present oddly(?) absent. Troubadour--geisha--samurai---all came down through the audience, mixing with the crowd but alight in spot---with a huge backdrop of parthenon across the stage. Very surreal venetian type mardi gras. Then he the backdrop faded to a silhouette of him standing with guitar, as he rose in mid stage---and echoing that performance of time? He opened with Beatles and flew to Wings to Solo and back again. The sound was perfection. And he looked great in red. smile...one of the best shows I have seen....ever--and I've seen a few. I would have happily planted me butt on a trunk...and the worship would have been real...only one thing was missing---sigh? to you-- |

serenity~ I'm with JM. You're not 'with' the band. YOU are the reason 'the band plays on'. Hugs, you. ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, |
