Day to Night

The sun rises
In the morning
It sets
At night

In the day
It shines
Like a golden star

With white clouds
And blue skies
All around

Twinkle here
Twinkle there
As the sun
Sets at dusk

The colours
Just roll into one
Gold,pink
Purple and red

As the moon
Starts to appear
You know that
Night is upon us

The moon shines
Brightly like a
Big pearl with
The light switched on
As day goes
Into night
