Shadows Of The Night The fear begins within the shadows of the night. Shadows that cause lost souls to be consumed with fright. Shadows dance upon the wall and you don’t know if they’re real. You wonder if you’ll be safe or if you will be its next meal.  You hear the rattling windows which make such ghastly sounds, your pulse suddenly does quicken as your heart begins to pound. Are demons waiting there hidden within the musty murk? Are they around every corner, do you wonder where they lurk? Your heart becomes filled with fear and you pray for the morning light, you can run, but you can’t hide from the shadows of the night.  { 10-23-99 a hallows challenge revised on 10-19-2002} If I have touched one heart through my words, then I have acheived my dream... |

OOOOHHH, Donna.....there's some spooks out there. HeeHee!!! This is delightful. I love the graphics, too. I wish I could do that. It really accentuates the words, doesn't it? Balladeer tried to tell me how, but I don't have a web site of my own and I can't seem to do it the other way, either. So, I'll just have to put the words down that I feel.
