"pick another bone" she said take a path of scream on knees-- "take another piece of me" dreams of bones are dirges... bled. [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (10-19-2002 05:42 AM).] |

You write him as he would himself... and thats a very very cool thing. Unknown to us, there are moments when crevices open for time to come alive with begining. |

It is just dawning on this dense poet that it might help if I included the source of inspiration here---geeeeeez, I get so mad at me sometimes. Here ya go, a clarification for the readers and a plug for Mikey: /pip/Forum55/HTML/000287.html quite often I am inspired by the words of other poets. Nothing wrong with that--some of the most fascinating reading in history is the "poet jousting" and "call and answer" works inspired among artists. But DO give credit, not only is that polite, but it's the law. I'm sure there are better examples of this type of thing than the one that comes to mind for me---which was Joni Mitchell's "The Circle Game" in reply to Neil Young's "Sugar Mountain". But thanks for reading, and thank YOU, Mikey--um...where ever you are???? |

Quite excellent, really. Thanks, Sen. I'm down in the dumps this fine morning, and this helped to lift the pall a bit. |
