Hulking giant caught mid-thought knuckles taut against your mouth flawed, unshod there's a mulling in your skull Knotted brow and toughened jaw some tout you as quite raw this I doubt and allow that truth wills out Clench'd fist grinds furtive thought foments reminiscence, hurt or God there's a sense that you lament, perhaps exalt Stiffened lip to gripping toes not if but when we bear life's blows even stripped we do our best to stay composed Now a kinship overflows an internship of the woes that the script we're handed's not the one we chose Brother sufferer, roughened son is the wondering ever done? What other does our thundering God propose? "Happy people have no history" - French Proverb |

Excellent imagery, RS. Rodin should be smiling, even if it's with a stiff upper lip. |

I will never gaze upon another likeness of Rodin's "The Thinker", without 'thinking' of you!---and that will be quite often as my sister has such a likeness in her living room! Enjoyed this very much! Linda |

Well, I'm not God, but I've been known to sound like thunder, and likely I have exploded a time or two, but my proposal is simple good Sir... I would read another from you... |

I like where your insight takes me, and I hope that with each day there will be some new wonder to ponder. |

RS, Even had you not used the word kinship, after reading this, I would have thought it. Thanks. Doc |
