Faint cries from the departed

I reach out to them
And send them towards the Light
To find their way home.

Noah, thank you for reading and replying. I think you may have misinterpreted this, but then how could that not occur once in a while considering the thousands of poems that you read and reply to! I cannot tell you how many times I have misinterpreted the meanings of many of the poems that I have read! Some poets have even gotten upset with me! Any way, my feeling is that the writer does not own how people interpret their words. I think it is the reader's perogative to interpret it as they may based on their own perspectives and experiences.

Wonderfully written, won't lay my interpretation here but I do agree that while the poets write their poems for themselves the words take on a life of there own for others.

Linda, You are absolutely right.
Send them on their way, "Go rest now" is what I tell them.

Unfortunately, for some spirits, much more is needed than that to send them on their way---and if they are malevolent...well, that's a whole other ball game!

My home and heart and mind are protected with the power of Christ.
What evil, lost, confused, spirit do you know of, that can tackle that force.

             ~NONE!~

We do have His power, and when used is a mighty force.

And this is the way my life works. I do not presume to know how it works for others. That you have powers and chose to work with these spirits, is touching, to say the least. Not all are healers of that nature.

But, for ~me~  My guide-source is the bible, to which I try to remain true, a feat not always easy to do.

You are a wonderful, spiritual, healing lady, a gift to many. May God bless you richly for your kindness and understanding of others, and healing powers. You've been, and continue to be a delight to me, in many ways.

Good morning to you! Your "I believe" is so comforting to me. I write of things that raise many eyebrows and I'm sure that there are those who read my poetry and think I may be a bit of a kook!---and they would be right! tehe ---but I can assure them all that I am quite sane--and I have an extremely interesting, and never boring life! How could I be?--I live in two worlds! lol
