"I want to know what's behind that Mona Lisa smile" slurred The Suit on whiskey breath. (this was going to be too easy) and The Smile replied, "A question of the ages, open for interpretation." "No," said The Suit, "I really want to know." "Teeth," said The Smile. The Suit changed stools and ordered another drink.. Sipping on his designer water with the inevitable twist of lemon, Khaki Pants said, "Can I buy you a drink blue eyes?" "No thanks," answered Blue Eyes. "Awwwww, c'mon, one drink and a little conversation.. I'd like to see what's beyond those blue eyes," droned Khaki Pants. (should she?of course!) "A brain," replied Blue Eyes. Khaki Pants moved on to Brown Eyes. ..and she smiles, observing the social dis-ease of "Happy" Hour "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |

I am on the floor laughing with you at this one. In my past life as a slim but voluptuous fair-looking young college student, I was a bartender at LAX, and a so-called high class dinner house in a marina in SoCAl. I understand this one, completely! Thanks for the memory giggle. Brains. That's a good one! [This message has been edited by Midnitesun (12-14-2002 11:13 AM).] |

Your blue eyes was one smart cookie, with her reply, not with being there unaccompanied. Enjoyed your delightful presentation of your observation. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
