This is right, too. It took me a long time to realize the kindnesses, compassion and empathy parts of my personality were God, working though me. I actually was so arrogant at one point in time I thought I was someone especially, special, rather than just the one among many. Perfection is no longer a goal for me; this is my truth...for I know myself (and many others) who've got a motive behind every kind, sensitive thought. And if I am not careful, sometimes my motives have motives...but have lived long enough to recognize such. Good topic. Thanks. Hugs, Pat  ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
